Ever write lyrics that go above an octave you can't sing?

My voice can go so high that, were I to write above my vocal range, it would be excruciating to listen to...

Plus, my highest attainable note has remained at the A two octaves above middle C for about two years now, so I've gotten familiar with the fact that I can't (and don't really want to) sing higher than that.

Of course, it's very, very rare that I even sing that high, and it's generally during drunken Led Zeppelin covers. :D

Edit: BTW, I'm (obviously) going falsetto to hit that A note. :D

You'd be great in a Wayne Newton tribute act then. :)

I was in a weird cover band in high school where they made me sing all these girls parts in songs (a song from Jesus Christ Superstar, the Phish song with Alisson Krauss from Hoist, the B52's "Love Shack" I hated playing that song so much!).

That is a chapter of my musical career I try really hard to forget!

:D
