Here's some light hearted lyrics for a song I've been working on this past month. I've been working on my aaba form and this seems promising. Let me know what ya think, I've still got to tweak it a little bit. Oh, and the bridge is told from the view point of his contemporaries.

Skeletons

A ll I've got skeletons hiding behind my door

in shadowed corners, within dark holes.

My sinister secrets lie waiting unseen,

I'm the masquerading champion of things all clean. ll A

A ll I've got skeletons buried beneath my floors

in each muffled moment they threaten to roar.

I suspect I'm on the lips of high society..

each evasive plastic smile silently mocking me. ll A

B ll

But he's the prodigy of virtue

a luxury of doing good.

He's the absense of evil,

our modern-day Robin Hood.

B ll

A ll I've got skeletons sleeping in my soul

louder and louder, their heartbeats grow.

Yet, these ill-wind passions I can no longer ignore

I've traded my sunlight to the Devil... to walk the night alone. ll A

(Fade out)
