Members error Posted August 14, 2002 Members Share Posted August 14, 2002 Hey. Anybody know of a list or chart that shows possible (theory) chords for creating choruses? For example, I'm working on a song now where the verses are set in a rythmic 4 count consisting of C# A# G# F#. I just can't seem to hit on a good chorus for it this time. Members WattsUrizen Posted August 15, 2002 Members Share Posted August 15, 2002 The chorus is usually the centerpiece of the song. So you need to write something which gives the song identity. As to chords, there aren't any rules. However your song looks to me to be in C# major, so maybe a standard progression like: C# E#minor A#minor G# (G#7). There's unlimited possibilities.
