There are three reasons/inspirations that convinced me to write this song: 1.) Everclear's "One Hit Wonder", which I think is a really great song.2.) My Friends Karin and Friedi, both looking really gorgeous, but still thinking they're fat and ugly and youhaventseenit etc...3.) Guttermouth's "Looking Good Is All That Matters"... The song's called Drop Dead Gorgeous...here we go... [Verse]Look at all these girls up on the catwalkSmiling and shining at any costsThe crowd's a flashing, hunting deadly hawkLooking for something that could ruin the illusionIt's the nightmare yet the dream of this girl named Susan. Members bulldawgu812 Posted August 21, 2002 Members Share Posted August 21, 2002 wow! i love the message and the song. the only thing i think could use some work is like the 4th verse, and maybe a little bit in the other ones too. they have a lot of story telling, and not a lot of imagery. but if u dont want to mess with it then dont, cuz that is fine how it is... especially depending on the music. awesome writing!
