Members Billy Dee
I have a 1968 Super Reverb with the original capacitors. I want/need to recap the amp. Is there a specific brand that I should use or avoid ? Any other items I should be aware of regarding recapping an amp? I don't want to blindly authorize the repair. Thanks. Members Ampegocaster
I'd go with Sprague Atom caps. That's what I recapped my 68 bassman with. I got them here: http://www.thetubestore.com/electrolytics.html But it seems you can buy a kit here (might be a bit more expensive, never compared prices): http://store.triodestore.com/gap.html

Members Steverino
Sprague is the preferred brand. That's not to say there aren't other good brands out there.
