Members SAF_Jon
Ok, here's a quasi-depressing, relatively bitter contrived song about an imagined relationship. I think at least half of all rock tunes have to flow along this line. Anyway, it's short, doesn't rhyme consistantly and has very poor prose, but it'll fit into virtually any melody line, which is pretty much how I like to write my lyrics. Have a look and feel free to critique the poor use of metaphor. Just don't comment on how I substituted black for indigo... What a beauty to behold, a rainbow, my head alight in myriad colors as blessed by God, but one has gone missing and the other have all turned blue, as I flush red at the sight of you leaving forever and blue gives way to black. They say the grass is always greener on the other side and the orange of the rising sun will burn away to yellow to give light to the day when my love was bruised purple by your callousness Just one other thing. To those of your who are thinking "Rainbow, huh, this guy must be gay:"
