Members Chippsta Posted October 23, 2007 Members Share Posted October 23, 2007 I've got a mid-late 70's Deluxe Reverb with pull-boost. It sounds great during the first set, just fantastic run on 3 or 4 . Later in the night it seems to sound thin, mushy, and harsh. I put a Celestion 'anniversary model' in it when i first bought it and retubed about a year ago. The tubes in it have probably 40-60 hours total on them. A buddy told me the amp might be making the same tone, but my ears are shutting down and i just can't hear it well anymore. Suggestions? Speaker replacement possibly ?
