Members bohemoth
I finally got around to rewiring my marshall 1960a from straight 16ohm to 4/16 ohm switchable with a parallel input to fullstack it, but I'm having some trouble with my switch. I've tried two different DPDT switches, but it only seems to work correctly on the 4ohm switch position. When on the 16 ohm position, only one set (two speakers) seem to work. I thought it was just a bad switch, but I changed it and had the EXACT same problem. Anyone know what could be causing this?

Members Rufus Leaking
I just did this on my cab and it worked great. Here's the diagram I used;EDIT - I didn't add the parallel 'out' jack as shown.
Members bohemoth
The best thing and what I do to these cabs;eliminate the switches, and put one new jack in.Wire the cab for mono 16 ohms and that's it.I've seen too many amps blown over thefactory switching scheme. oh the factor switch has LONG been blown haha. I might just take the switch out and wire it at 16 ohms since i'm getting rid of my only amp that doesnt have a 16 ohm jack. where can i get a handle for these? i got it missing one.
