Members moestock
My Dad, who manages an appliance store just got a very small fridge for me, for free! I wanted one of these a while ago, but now my bedroom is so jammed with amps/guitars and what not I have no room for it. If I put my Peavey C30 on top of the little fridge will it damage the amp from moisture coming off of the coils or whatever the hell is in the little refrigerators these days? I'd love to have my hangover causes and cures right next to my bed, put its not worth it if its going to put my gear in peril. Anyone have any clue about this? The fridge does have a small freezer on top. Logically seems like a bad idea to put the C30 on there, but do I really have anything to worry about? Thanks for any help/opinions. Members HKSblade1
Amps see hot and cold, humidity changes often, From car to club, cold to hot. If you are not sure, put something (non flammable) underneath it.
Members Mudder1310
Your fridge should be fine. Really, I wouldn't think a minifridge would give you any grief unless it was sweating from condensation. Put a towell down before putting your amp on top.
