Members Davetopay
When at practice(power on, standby on) and the volume down on my guitar I am getting a popping and hissing that almost sounds liquid. Like bubbles. The tubes are fairly new in the power section, the preamp is an unknown.....should I be looking for a bad tube, or could this be a cap problem? I really only notice it on the ultra/crunch channels.

I'll probably grab a few at the store and swappem out at our next practice. Any suggestions on substituions in V1, 2,3 ,4?
Members tri99er
I have an old brass faced Triumph 60, and that is definitely pre amp tubes gone bad. I usually just change them all out.
