Tell me if this is retarded: SD-1, AB, JSX content

So, the JSX sounds good by itself with all my guitars into the High gain input. It also sounds good (but different) with an SD-1 into the low gain input. Would putting an AB switchbox in front, with the guitar only signal going to the high gain and the guitar plus SD1 going to the low gain work? Or would it be a noisy mess?

 

I'm just asking, because it seems like it would work in theory.

Plugging into both inputs will turn them both into Low-gain inputs.

It should work, though, but it probably won't be exactly what you're looking for.

I may be wrong, but I think when you plug into both outputs, the high gain input clones the low gain input, so in effect you'd be plugged into the low gain input twice.

eh crap.....you guys are right. I just looked at the specs. {censored}. well, it was a good idea, until the laws of reality decided to show up.

It probably wouldn't be hard to mod the inputs to change that, though.
