Members keith2112
All of my amps have been master V, 2203, 2203x, Avenger. I'm considering a Fuchs Train 45. How rock can it get withoug pre amp overdrive. How high do you have to cut it up???
Members thinkpad20
Get it modded with a master volume knob. That can be done, right?
Members Boris the Blade
It would have to be very loud. My superbass starts to break up at about 2 on the volume. At 5, it can do nice bluesy stuff. From 7-10, you can do just about anything. Not the metalz though. The volume at 10 on this amp is insane. Super loud and sounds damn good
Members Facing Failure
Non-Master Volume amps are {censored}ing awesome, however, they do need to be pretty rediculously loud to get distorted. If you're looking for metal, you'll need a pedal to get there.
Members Brother_Budro
you can probably install a PPIMV (post phase inverter master volume) i think i had one installed on my 50watt plexi i love it i only keep the volume on the front about 3 but that is even way to loud for my bands loudest jams so i have the master volume in the back to help control it if you turn the master volume all the way up it's like it's not even in the circuit its a pretty simple mod and nik did it for me a ceriatone for $
Members PlayboyChris
What's the point of buying a NMV amp if you're just gonna have a MV installed? Try an attenuator instead.
Members Brother_Budro
because i couldn't find a master volume plexi and attenuators are expremely expensive

Members Rich
T45 doesn't give up the goods untill it's pretty loud. MV would probably sound pretty metallic and fizzy as this amp already has a load of preamp gain.
