Laney vc15 - ext+int speaker mod

Hi Harmonies,

 

 

 

I have Laney vc15-110 which is a nice sounding little amp:

It has external speaker jack . Laney recommends the 12" GS112 to it:

The thing which I dont like is, that joining the ext. cabinet will cut out the internal 10" .

 

 

Can anybody show some way whether it is possibble to to some very simple mod to get both these speakers "sing" , without

that's really weird that the ext. speaker would cut off the internal speaker. obviously your OT does not have the ability to switch between impedance loads. i'm no tech, but it seems to me like you'd have to mod it so that your OT can handle selectable impedances, or you'd have to get a new OT and have a selector on it.
