Trademark question

Anyone know anything about using a registered trademark as a song lyric. Specifically, I am asking about 7-Eleven.

I have a line that goes:

I just fell in love

With the girl from the 7-Eleven

--

Will using this line infringe upon 7-Eleven's trademark? Will I get sued. Also, the title of the song uses the name as well.

I don't want to get into any trouble, so does anyone have any first-hand experience with this sort of thing?

Like,

I met her at the Burger King,

Fell in love by the soda machine.

?

If the Ramones can do it, why not you?

I mean, it happens all the time. Maybe the folks who write songs with brand names in them have to slip a little to the brand holder, but what's the difference?

Yeah, I am sure that it happens all the time, but I am pretty sure that you have to have permission to use someone's registered trademark. I suppose I have to ask someone at 7-Eleven if it's OK.

Thanks.
