Members lenster Posted May 12, 2008 Members Share Posted May 12, 2008 Tried a G flex cab yesterday and a Hiwatt cab with V30s. Set up with my Laney cab with HH invader speakers. went thru all three cabs . Knowing the laney is a bright amp i need a darker sounding cab . The hiwatt with V30s was good but to me i don't know what all the fuss is about with V30s to bright for me. Not much diff to the hh speakers just mnore clarity. The G Flex cab was perfect for the Laney nice smooth mids great bottom end really really nice {perfect if i must say}. Know i've to tell the finance minister that i have more GAS.
