Members Gone 6 days now
I have been going through this phase for the last couple of months were I can only write really depressing lyrics and none that suit the song. Is there anything I could do? I know it is really doubtfull that no one but me can change this but it's worth a shot.
Members emuhunter
Do what I'm doing, write an entire album of depressing stuff. Purge yourself of it, and then give yourself time to get "undepressing." I think your job (and my job, for that matter) as an artist is to be honest to what you're doing. So be depressing if you feel like it!

Members Staticnz
My album that I'm kicking around is going to be called 'Mr Depressed Sings Emo', and it's gonna be an extremely tongue-in-cheek depression fest celebrating everything negative and socially sad and irritating and full of hopelessness. It is a good purge, then you can move on.
