Members GuitarHitman Posted June 29, 2008 Members Share Posted June 29, 2008 I'm in the process of building my own valve head and have come to choosing the cabinet for it and came across the Laney GS112VE as one of the cheaper options loaded with a Celestion Seventy 80. I also spotted an Epiphone Valve Jnr extension cabinet with Eminence Lady Luck How do these speakers rate? The other options were (but maybe pushing my budget) were the Orange 1x12 extension cab with a Celestion Vintage 30 but from what I hear, it doesn't sound like the one for me. The other option was a Fender Hot Rod extension cabinet with a Celestion G12 something or other but this might be too far a stretch for my budget.
