Members J.L.C.
I'm trying to run a Boss DD3 in the loop of a mark iv and I'm having some problems. The first note comes through fine, but the first couple repeats clip, distort, and sound like crap. It's as though the loop is overdriving the pedal. The manual says the channel master doubles as the effects loop send level, but I'm running it pretty low - 2-3 on Rhythm 1. Is this just the case with putting a delay in the loop? Is it just a Boss issue, if so can anyone recommend a better pedal that'll work in the loop? Or is there a work-around at all? I'd like to keep this pedal (bought it new not long ago). Members thinkpad20
I've never had problems with running delay in a Mark IV loop. If the first note coming through sounded bad, I'd consider it might be a problem with the loop, but seeing as it's the later ones (which are generated by the pedal) that are having problems, it seems like something's wrong with your pedal. Have you tried it with other amps?
