I find Cat stevens and America (not the 80s era america) two amazing artists... they wrote some incredibly simple songs often with quite ridiculous lyrics and even an average voice for Stevens and yet they had such brilliant catchy songs. When it comes down to trying to make a song myself i just want to be able to come up with something as catchy and simple as those guys did. But its so hard to go from a boring simple acoustic song like i come up with, to a great simple acoustic song like 'best of my love', 'wonderwall', etc etc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
