Members surfcat
I'm putting in a new speaker in a combo and it came with some foam padding strips that look like they go around the edge of the speaker. It already has some thick padding attached to the edges of the speaker. There are no instructions (Celestion). Do I need the extra foam padding? It's very thin-and if I do, do I stick it to the speaker or the baffle of the amp?

Members Sixtonoize
If you're front-loading the speakers, it goes between the speaker and baffle. If you're rear-loading the speakers, then it's not needed.
