The first time I thought it sounded quite weak and sterile, but it was through a stock cheap Crate cab, so i gave it another chance in another shop, this time with the matched Epiphone cab with the Eminence speaker... It sounded weak and sterile. I was quite disappointed to be honest, I wanted it to sound good, and I've read good things about it. The Windsor sounds much better IMO - or you can go used Laney (or something like that) and get much better tones for the same kind of money, IMO again of course! The So-Cal clips at netmusicians were played through a 1960 Marshall cab and it sounded OK. I'm gonna have a look for some clips of the Windsor and compare them....
