I've been playing through a '77 Marshall JMP Artiste for years now and I'm tired of how limited it is. I'm moving away from rock and wanting to play more jazz/blues. As such - and I've been playing various Marshalls for years and years - I'm looking for a different sound. The problem is I need a cleaner sound than the Artiste can give (which, by the way, for a Marshall is actually pretty clean). I'm also looking to move to a combo as I'm sick of lugging heavy heads and cabs around. What could I get that I'd be able to trade my JMP in for?
