Fender vintage RCA footswitch: would it work on a Blues Jr using RCA -> 1/4" adapter?

I'm planning on picking up a 1 button RCA footswitch to toggle the vibrato on my silverface Fender Bronco amp (basically a Vibrochamp renamed to sell as a package with a bronco guitar). It's a badass little amp, sounds awesome, rated at 6 watts. Here's some info for those interested:

I also have a Blues Jr, which has a jack for a single button 1/4" jack, to toggle the "Fat" switch, a slight gain boost.

Just for curiosity's (and thriftiness') sake, if I put an RCA to 1/4" adapter on the vintage 1-button footswitch, would it work in the Blues Jr to toggle the Fat switch?
