I currently have a 2x12 box w/ Lead 80's, and have been wanting a 4x12 with speakers that don't have as much emphasis on the top end as the Lead 80's do. Members roners5 Posted October 29, 2008 Members Share Posted October 29, 2008 I've only ever tried my TOL50 through my 2X12 v30s and a 1X12 mesa w/ a black shadow- the black shadow smoothes things out a bit- not as piercing but a bit more "boxy." I think I prefer the black shadow to tell u the truth. Never tried it through greenbacks which would be the next obvious answer so I can't help you there.
