Members Rumble Bass Posted November 11, 2008 Members Share Posted November 11, 2008 Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. Amp is making horrible sound. Its hard to describe, kinda metallic crakling, only when I play. So with amp at about 3 volume and distortion (with a pedal or amp distortion), when I play I hear my guitar but there is a horrible high pitched sound added to it, like a rattling almost. It also seems to feedback more than usual. I'm pretty sure its a tube, but would it be power tube or preamp tube?
