There's a lot of rushed syllables and with the vocoder (I think that's what it is) and delay, the lyrics get completely lost there. The second verse flows much better and the words come through much clearer. Bonus points because I don't think I've ever heard bong used in this fashion, especially in a quasi-love song. The song itself sounds like it has potential to be good, but I couldn't listen all the way through because that electronicky sound was annoying. Maybe turn that synth rhythm progression into a piano or guitar or something, and just sing it straight. Or at least make one conventional version for us simple folks.
