Members MakuseruSukotto Posted January 23, 2009 Members Share Posted January 23, 2009 Another amp question, so It's off to the amp forum. I've got an Ampeg R50H, and it has one small problem. When ever I'm on the clean channel I get this annoying hiss. The hiss does not change with the volume of the amp, it's constant. It's not a typical grounding hum where it stops if you touch something metal (bridge of guitar or amp faceplate.) Also, when I change to the overdrive channel on the amp, the hiss stops.
