Members popthree
i wrote a song with a hook that employs a phrase & reverse phrase... or Yoda speak if you will. i never thought much of it til someone said ' ah very nice... except... "Yoda speak" doesn't really work in song lyrics'.. i had never considered it, but now i wonder... what do you think ?
Members fenderbender66
Generally, I don't like language to get in the way of the meaning. If it's cumbersome to read/hear, the meaning is lost. I mean, how many of us speak to each other like that (Yoda speak) in everyday conversations? With that said, I don't think there's an absolute on whether something can be used in song lyrics or not.that's my 2 cents. what is the line, by the way? Members Drumas funk
That sounds pretty cool. I would say yoda speak works for lyrics in this case.
