About a month and a half or so ago, I was a total dick to my girlfriend on 2 different ocassions. Now we're broken up, I can't stand it, and I'm working towards making things up to her. The phrasing's a little goofy but I got it to work. I'll have a version recorded by this evening to post along with it, I worked most of it out last night but got too late and tipsy to try it. Besides I was finishing up a remix of the song I wrote her for Christmas w/ a commentary...which I'll post later as well sans commentary. Only thing I don't like is it's got this Everlast/Santana vibe to it from the song they did...lol Oh well, we'll see what happens. Maybe they won't pick up on that... Acoustic style blues... Right now we're grounded from each other, in the sense we can't talk or hang out or anything because her friends are upset with her for putting up with what I did. I've never done what I did before in my life, and swear to make the changes needed in my life so that it never happens again, most of them having taken place already. This song deals directly with trying to make it up to her friends and family, well apologize anyways, not sure something like this can just make it all better. Last night I went home, arranged it, tweaked and tried to get a good feel for it down to lay at least a rough version which I did. Note, I have to bring the vocals up some more and work on my mixing skills but here's an MP3 link. (Note, I'm not comfortable with my voice at all like this...but it worked, sorta.
