tbh, listening to someone play guitar next door would be way more annoying than them leaving their trashcans out.

We live in kind of a high end golf course community with regulations. No outside storage of trash recept. is one of them. She is like the only one in the entire neighborhood who leaves them out, the wind blows and away they go. Then I have to gather them up and drag them back to her house. Some people here might think the regulations are lame, but you know the regulations before you move here, so you need to abide. They are for safety (keeps animals out) and asthetics. I can't spell.

I live in a seriously rural area.. we had a concert up here in our back field a couple years ago with an enormous sound setup, tons of bands.. amazingly enough our neighbor of about a mile away called the cops.. they were WV cops though, so they were pretty cool.. stopped by and said "we have to tell you to turn it down, but don't worry, if he calls again we might be hard to find for the rest of the night"

Dude that is very cool of you. I think any force would be happy to have someone like that
:thu:

That said, do you blast Pantera and such in the cruiser? Cuz seriously, if I was to ever get arrested, the only thing I'd want to hear is some loud, heavy music as I was getting thrown in the back of the car
:rawk:

On that note, if I was a cop, I'd be blasting the tunes

Oh yeah. Pantera, Metallica, etc. etc. etc.

it sucks but it's the right way to do it unless you know the person really well. You don't want {censored} to escalate and get violent if the other person doesn't take it too well.

I'm lucky because my front door neighbor is a guitar player and his wife is a drummer. My backdoor neighbor is a singer and my next door neighbor is a cool guy and he loves my playing. I just spent an hour playing my 6505+ on 4.5

the only way to get to know someone really well is by talking to them :p

I'm lucky, my neighbor is gone most of the time so playing my Legacy or Dual Rec is no problem...

But if they are home my Cube 30 comes in handy... I'm pretty respectful about playing at decent volumes.

Now if she would just stop bring random dudes home from the bar at 2 a.m. and screaming like she's filming a porno things would be fine.

Lol... after a 12 pack, maybe a 5.3?

She broke up with her BF a couple months ago, and after that I'd say there were at least 10 different guys that I'd seen her bring home.

At first I put up with it, but after the third or fourth time we started banging on the walls telling her to STFU.

It was like trying to listen to the intro to "More human than human" over and over again...
