Members bluesboy
Im thinking of putting this pickup in the bridge of my Les Paul. Im looking for some ballsy crunch, without mud. Anybody like this pickup? or any other recommendations? I have to return a mixer at GC, so i was thinking about getting a new pickup.

Members GCDEF
I had one in a flying V. I though it was a great pickup. Really clear and bright - in a good way. Crunched up nicely. Probably not the best for really high gain sounds, but ballsy crunch without mud describes that pickup perfectly.

I think it works great for high gain has a nice huge sound
Members bluesboy
well, i dont really play high gain stuff. When jamming with my buddies, we play stuff like hendrix, the stones, led zeppelin, etc. The "heaviest" stuff we would do is like say, pearl jam. My neck pickup is a classic 57, which i really love in the neck. I have the matching pickup in the bridge (not the 57+), and it sounds a bit too thin for me

Members LedZep1985
I have one in the bridge of my Epiphone G-400. It sounds great for rhythms, as well as leads. It also sounds great when coil split.
