Members fenderbender66
Is it okay to transport a Fender Twin on it's side? If so, should I lay it down with the tolex side on the ground, or the back side on the ground? I'm worried it's going to cause stress on the tubes. The reason I'm asking is I'm looking at getting a new vehicle, and I have to be able to fit all my gear in it. The amp won't fit in the Honda Civic's trunk, and I'm not breaking my back trying to get it into the back seat (of a 2-door). Any advice is appreciated. Members this is paul
so where are you planning on putting it? Don't put it in any trunk unless you want to break stuff.
Members milk bone
Think you'll be fine. Shouldn't hurt anything so long as you use reasonable caution. Old Fenders are tough.
Members RaoulDuke
I lay mine down on it's back to transport it and I've never had any trouble. You should be fine.
