A lot more of a fusion sound compared to say Cynic, but still retains the metal heaviness about it (well, for the parts where it's supposed to). Parts of it remind me of the more spacey lead sections in Sol Niger Within actually. Parts of it are Cynic-y of course, parts almost like Alarum without the {censored} vocals... but I'm having a hard time really comparing it to something... overall, it's just flat out brilliant stuff! Haven't heard a dull moment in the whole thing. Aside from the fact that it's very different style of music, I wouldn't be so sure of your ">" claim. They're all very talented {censored}ers in that project.
