It has some similarities to a 5150, but I think it has more of a midrange grind and the KT88s give it this great percussive metallic "thwack" sound to the pick attack that the Peavey just lacks. Once you go into "smooth mode" I think the similarities disappear though. It has much more of a Marshally kind of voicing then. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
