Members piper19 Posted June 15, 2009 Members Share Posted June 15, 2009 hi all, a beginner question for you: I have an amp head that has 2 speaker out jacks, and 1 switch to choose between 16 or 8 ohms. I have an Orange PPC212, which is 16 ohms and has 2 input jacks. I connect the amp with 1 cable, switch to 16 ohms. Is this correct? Some guy suggested me connecting with 2 cables, so left output jack to left input jack and a second cable for the right jacks. Another guy told me to use 1 cable (as I normally do), but then change the swith to 8 ohms. The volume of the amp then goes up a little bit which is better he said.thanks!
