Members piper19
Hi all, A beginner question... I have a head with 2 jacks labeled speaker, and it has 1 switch too choose between 16 or 8 ohm. The cab is an Orange PPC212, wchich is 16 ohms and has 2 input jacks. I connect my amp with 1 cable running from 1 output on the amp to 1 input jack on the cab, switch on the amp to 16 ohm. Is this correct? Some guy suggested me 2 cables connecting left output to left input and right output to right input.Another guy suggested me connecting with 1 cable as I did, but switch to 8 ohms?? He said this is better because the volume did go up. (but can it harm?)thanks!
Members UCantTouchDis
1. Put switch on amp to 16ohm. 2. Plug SPEAKER cable in to 16 ohm on amp head. 3. Plug other end of cable into 16 ohm input on cab.
