Members joegrant413
I sold my Zvex Nano and now have seller's regret. Can anyone recommend to me a low-watt that.... Must have- Will do less than 1 watt, maybe even a fraction of a watt- Clean don't matter- Will do great bluesy breakup- Will do nice classic rock growl- Costs less than $300 Nice to have- on-board reverb- Comes in a combo- Has external cab capability Impossible, but I'll say it anyway- Has fx loop that can be bypassed Thx,-- Joe

Members joegrant413
Yeah, that's a great candidate. It'd be nice if it had reverb, but I've heard good things about the AC4TV. Thx!-- Joe

I always thought that about my VJ combo, till I plugged it into a bigger cabinet... it was unbelievable.
Members joegrant413
When I had a Pro Jr., I routinely plugged in a 2x12 cab. Sounded really good. Yeah, the small amp's do tend to sound boxy to my ears, too. The Vox AC4TV will go to a 16 ohm external cab, and they also sell a matching cab for $150 or so. -- Joe
Members joegrant413
Tried the Blackheart Ant tonight.... sounded really pretty good:thu: Plus.... it's only a $160. Might be an itch worth scratching. -- Joe

There is a Valve Junior Hot Rod head with reverb. But I wonder if 5w is too loud to crank in the basement. I really want that OD growl like I got from the 1/2 watt Nano. -- Joe
