Members jkg
Is this amp good for cleans?? Thanks
Members thinkpad20
Basically the Mig50 is a JCM800 clone, so depends what kind of cleans you're talking about. I for one am a fan of gritty Marshall cleans so yeah. But if you want rich deep Fender cleans you might want to look elsewhere. Fantastic rock amp though, from what I've heard and seen on stage. Members agiknee
yeah, it has beautiful cleans. I prefer them to fenders in some situations because the clean is very beefy and silky and not twangy and high. if you have the mig 50h, it's more of marshall type sound. Kind of like a hot rodded 800. the mig 50 is based off the bassman/jtm45 circuit. mig 50+reverb and delay =
Members necropsy
the mig 50 is based off the bassman/jtm45 circuit. mig 50+reverb and delay = +1!! The one I owned had the channels jumpered (sp?) so you could get both, bright and normal, mixed. I sounded really nice, and still miss it
Members Sixtonoize
If you keep the Bright channel at a reasonable volume, the cleans are absolutely killer. If you push either channel, it gets really great break up.

Members Sixtonoize
An amount inversely proportional to where the Volume controls are set.
