I am keeping my Gibson ES-335 because I do still get the urge to play electric. However, I'm selling my Fender HRD because its too loud for my apartment and not getting used enough to justify keeping. I'm looking for a smaller electric amp to play the Gibson through. I think tubes sound better, but I am open to good solid states. I like clean and slightly overdriven tones. A 5 watt tube amp might do the trick, like a Fender Champion 600 or an Epiphone Valve Junior. Some time ago in a pawn shop I was impressed with the sound of a Traynor TRM40.
