Members mparsons
 Had some issues with pops, crackles, and distortion, but unchecking Interleaved in the FF settings fixed it entirely. I haven't recorded anything with it yet, but I can tell it will be amazing already. The DA converters in the FF are a big step up from the Presonus Firestudio Project I had. There is a lot better detail in the high end, especially with more dynamic things like cymbals and orchestra. Stereo imaging is much improved, the whole field seems wider with a better center image as well. I also got some Auralex MoPads to isolate my monitors, and that improved the bass and midrange a lot. It's like a whole new set of monitors. Music has NEVER sounded so good.

Members dreamspace
Nice, I had the FF800. A bit overkill for my single-guitar-at-the-bedroom stuff tho
Members mparsons
Nice, I had the FF800. A bit overkill for my single-guitar-at-the-bedroom stuff tho I was going to go for the FF800... but the preamps on the FF400 are actually better than the 800! I only need two good mic pres, and I'm going to get a Behringer ADA8000 for triggers... Cheap and effective recording studio, here we come
