hey mike, we definitely need some more DC ampfest action. my fatbottom cab is broken in, and i'm lovin it!

I can't wait to hear it. It's always a blast checking out unfamiliar gear I just hope we can get something going before the holidays come around. Once Thanksgiving gets here I don't think anyone's going to want travel any more than they have to.

I had both and agree with DM. The FB cabs have super fast attack and are more directional while the Dcabs have a slightly deeper/thicker sound. It's just a matter of preference between the two.

Personally, I didn't like the P50s at all. When I ran the FB cabs only I used Vintage 30s and Vintage Century speakers. When I ran the Dcabs only I used H30s or GreenBacks. I have tons of clips of the Dcab w/GBs if you're interested.

Hell yes. I'm always interested in checking out new clips! :thu:

These clips are the heaviest I get, but not exactly teh brootz. These are the D412 w/GBs. I liked the tone from the GBs, but it made the feel a little to saggy and loose for me. Juggs has this cab now. :thu:

Very cool tones man. :thu:

Definitely a more rounded tone. I like the smoothness for leads and cleans, but you're right, for rhythm crunch the greenbacks smooth out too much.
