Members lenster
Ok. So my current setup is as follows: Guitars > Diamond comp> wah>Phase90>FD2 > TU2 > Laney VH100R. MXR EQ > Timbender delay ( Loop ). Love my set up and tones i get ( most times ) , but since my recent purchase of the GSP 1101 , i'm quite intrigued to try the 4CM with my rig. Here's my question; I have the GC2 to change patces effects etc and also have my Laney 4 button footswitch to change channels on my amp , now i'm sure that the Gc2 won't change my amps channels to go with certain effects for different tones / colours etc ( midi I'd assume would ) , So in order to keep using my amps dirty channels for crunch and solos, would i leave my amp set to crunch channel and utilise the GSP 1101 for cleans , mild OD and (solos (delay, Eq etc ) ). .that is by bypassing the crunch channel the GSP would cancel out the Laneys pre and utilise the GSP for other tones . Trying to word this is harder than i thought! Does this sound right or do i need to go the Midi route? If this is possible then i could offload my pedal board to free up some cash for other PA gear i would like to acquire . Hope i'm making sense . Cheers from OZ.
