Unexpected! I'll listen to the other one later. Your vocals are good, too. Wobbled here and there slightly, but it's not really a big deal. The ending wasn't bad, either, the verses and chorus stood out more to me. For some reason, the repetition was still a bit "off" for me - maybe if some of those sliding synth arpeggios were in the verses? I might have to give it another listen.
