Members frtbzz
Got a Modena M60 and took it for a test drive today at band practice. I had trouble dialing the amp in! I didn't come out of practice very happy with the outcome. Though I didn't have very much time to tweak. First I had to figure out how the masters worked...then the fat and edge dials....and then the gain....the M1offon switch...put a madd proffessor Deep blue delay pedal in the loop...I'm to used to playing Marshalls and this is a different beast. I should read the manual, I never had to do that before. lol! I'm running it thru a 16ohm Marshall cab with G12H-30's and Greenbacks...wonder if that makes a big difference? Tips would be appreciated. I'm using my Les Paul with medium output PU's
Members firejack018
I felt the same way about mine.Took a risk buying unseen & unplayed after hearing such awesome clips and reading nothing but positive reviews.Just couldn't get along with it at all.I had the matching Elmwood 2x12 too.Had such high hopes for that amp but was left feeling very disappointed about it.YMMV. Members frtbzz
Thanks fo the reply man. I'm sure this amp has potential....it seems to be a tweakers amp. Some of the clips are just incredible, If I can get close to what I heard, I'll be happier than {censored}!
