Members diocide
To the two gentlemen with the diamond plate looking boards i pose two questions; 1- What did you use to attach the pedals, the bike chain trick? 2- Don't those things weigh a {censored}ing ton? I just use really good Velcro and it works just fine. The diamond plate is aluminum and to be honest it's not that heavy at all!
Members mark_morton
Mine is not real aluminum it's vinyl, like this http://cgi.ebay.com/DIAMOND-PLATE-CRICUT-Craft-VINYL-Sheet-Adhesive-backed_W0QQitemZ400051182578QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item5d24e89bf2 I got it at my local auto zone, the wood I used, it's from an old bookshelf, and the aluminum around it, it's aluminum siding I got at home depot. Members diocide
what's the bike chain trick? Using the single links of a bike chain. One opening of the link gets screwed into the board, then the other goes through the screws that hold the pedals backing plate on, negating the need for velcro.
