EVH Guitar Tracks.

I don't know if this has been posted yet, but I was just browsing youtube and came across these. It's the isolated guitar tracks. It reminded me of how godly EVH was to me back in the day.

 

Anyway, I thought it was pretty cool. I always like stuff like this.

Yeah I've heard some of these before.. Pretty cool.. Eddie's the best.. Little guitars is a cool tune, basically that one, Hang em High, and Cathedral are about all I like off Diver Down.. By far the low-point of VH to me..

The guy just had such a cool, "loose" feel on those first few albums. Probably brought on by all of that playing in bars and whatnot in the old days.

Nah, not only that.. But alcohol probably had a huge part and also Rock N Roll wasnt all about playing to a metronome and punching in every part so its perfect like {censored} is today.. VH used to spend days in the studio recording albums, not months or more.. It was all about getting in the studio and sounding like themselves, Which was a fun, high energy band.. Eddie did very little overdubs on the first few albums.. Most of his solos were just him breaking loose from the rhythm he was playing, going off, and then coming back in to his rhythm parts.. I know it may sound cliche, but it was all about the feel, which is they it should always be..
