Members mgar64 Posted January 17, 2010 Members Share Posted January 17, 2010 I have completed all the Guitar Pug mods now except the OT upgrade to a Mercury Magnetics VXO-15A-L unit. Do the wire colors matter? The stock wiring is as follows: Black = GroundRed/Pink = TT7Yellow = EL84 V3White = EL84 V4Blue = 16 ohm tapOrange = 8 ohm tap The wire colors on the Mercury Magnetics OT are Black, red, yellow, Blue, Gray and BrownDoes it matter which color wire goes where?
