Members mcr23
Seriously My GAS goes through the roof for MOAR preamps and poweramps. When that 4-ch MAKO preamp comes out, I think I might be all over it. And I really want a 2150 poweramp too I also put a Raytheon NOS blackplate 12AX7 in the V1 of the Studio preamp and it really made the clean channel break up more like a pushed low-wattage amp. combine that with 30W of triode-run EL34 in the BOOGIE 295 poweramp and No OD pedal necessary  clips if I ever get home before 8. My neighbors are bisches about the 8pm to 8 am quiet hours in this building.
Members Dave L
Yeah, I was much the same when I ran a big rack... constantly flipping preamps and trying new stuff. Depending on how much money he wants for that Mako preamp I might be getting into the rack business again... it looks awfully sweet.
Members bengerm77
I had a rack once:cry: I ended up selling the whole thing a few weeks ago. It was consuming me. I was spending money on effects units, other preamps, foot controllers that I couldn't maintain. I couldn't even lift the thing. My rack was a burden upon my soul. I finally had to sell it or start living in a storage unit with my rack. Get out now while you still can.
