Members woody96
Just picked up a minty Fender Deluxe reverb reissue from my favorite pawn shop--played great at the store; played great for about 10 minutes at home..then a slight pop; and the fuse blew! RATS! Any ideas??
Members bluesbox101
I would replace the fuse. if it blows again, it could be a number of things. the rectifier, power tubes, and transformers failing could all cause a fuse to blow....or the fuse could just blow:thu:
Members hecticone
First thing I would do is reseat the power tubes might have worked there way loose during transport. If not that then check the power tubes themselves.
Members Gary Cohn
Had same problem with my bf dr, ended up being a torched power tube. Bows a good time to replace em anyways. Kinda like oil in a car, seller always says he just changed it, but we all know better. Nows a great time to get a 3 prong cord out on too.
