How's the Hiwatt High Gain series

Any one own one of these? There is one for sale locally, can't seem to find to many clips of them. Before you ask, I really don't care if it does the brootalz

I a/b'd a hiwatt hi-gain 100 watt head with an orange rockerverb 50 and preferred the hiwatt by quite a bit. Awesome
clean channel and surpringly decent dirt too. I think it actually could pull off a decent metal tone with hot pickups and a boost.

I like the sound of that, pretty much sums up what I like in an amp. I figured the cleans would be lush on a Hiwatt. I may have to go try it out. I'm tempted by this, or a VM at the moment.

I had a 50 for a while.

 

It had as much gain as my dual rec did.

 

Great sounding amps.
